Recognise and check a card charge

A payment label can look different from the name you remember from the website. Check the merchant, date, currency and amount against an actual purchase before deciding what the transaction represents.

SWIPEY.AI, INVAI LTD and Nicosia

A charge can appear as SWIPEY.AI or INVAI LTD. INVAI LTD operates Swipey AI from Cyprus, so a statement can also display Nicosia or Cyprus. The payment processor affects how the label appears.

A matching word is a clue, not proof that you authorised a particular transaction. Check the amount and purchase record. Do not assume every payment containing a city name belongs to the same service.

Match it to the account

  1. Note the payment date, amount, currency and full merchant label shown by your provider.
  2. Check the email account you used for Swipey and look for a purchase receipt.
  3. Review the active plan and renewal date in Settings, Subscription and Current Plan.
  4. Consider a separate Hearts purchase or Fan Club payment, rather than assuming every charge is a plan renewal.
  5. If you still cannot match it, contact support from the account email with the transaction details.

What to send to support

Send the date, amount, currency, receipt reference if available and the last four card digits only if needed to locate the payment. Explain whether you expected a renewal, a top-up or no purchase at all.

Do not send a full card number, security code, bank password or a one-time sign-in code. Keep payment evidence out of public Discord or Reddit posts. If the payment was not authorised by you, use your payment provider's own support channel as well.

An old charge and the next renewal are separate

Cancelling Premium stops future plan renewal; it does not reverse a posted payment. If a charge has already happened, explain that payment separately in a refund or billing request.

Keep the cancellation confirmation and the access end date. If another charge appears after cancellation, compare its transaction date and purchase type with the confirmation instead of assuming it is the same subscription.

Why does my statement mention Nicosia?

INVAI LTD is registered in Cyprus. A location label can accompany the merchant name, depending on the processor.

Does a Swipey charge always use the same name?

No. Labels can include SWIPEY.AI or INVAI LTD. Presentation depends on the payment provider.

Should I post a card screenshot in the community?

No. Use private support and remove sensitive payment details. Never share a full card number or security code.
